What are the prerequisites for MDR?
MDR runs on top of Acronis EDR or XDR, so one of them must be active.
What's the difference between Standard and Advanced?
Both include monitoring, threat containment, and incident prioritization. Advanced adds around-the-clock remediation by the MDR team, plus attack rollback and recovery from backups by agreement.
Do we still need our own SOC?
MDR gives you 24/7 monitoring and response without building your own SOC. Some regulatory or visibility requirements may still call for an in-house SOC.
